I have used the MediSim paravertbral/ ESPB task trainer for the last year in workshops, departmental teaching and bedside clinical teaching. It offers significant advantages to other simulation methods (cadaveric or phantom needle trainers) because it is simple to use, low cost, and easily transported. Equally it offers anatomical realism and a simulation experince far more like a real block compared with simple task trainers.
